Groups create a momentum that is continually moving forward, carrying all members of the group forward together. It's therefore not surprising that our class students typically progress faster together. This group momentum also provides a natural motivation to practice
Research demonstrates that we learn as much from others as we do from a teacher, and we learn best when we feel relaxed and are having fun!
Ensemble Playing - the ability to play in time with others is an important skill that beginner musicians can struggle with, specially if when taught traditionally
Playing Games - that accelerate and deepen learning is more fun with friends.
Singing - is the key to developing musical skills. Students find singing easier, less uncomfortable, more collaborative and fun with others.
